Houston, we have a problem: You’ve been asked to give a presentation and public speaking is not your strong suit. All nonprofits need good in-person communicators. Unfortunately, we tend to think good public speakers are born that way. Most of us are left on our own when we “have to speak” in public. And most of us wait till the last minute, whip out a quick PowerPoint, and soldier on.
During this program, you’ll learn the basics of public speaking. You’ll learn to develop and deliver a professional presentation, whether you’re speaking to a community group, your board of directors, or a potential volunteer. This interactive workshop will have opportunities to practice and get feedback.
