Program 8:30-9:30 am

Most Non-profit organizations have a mission. During this program we will share some of your organization's mission statements and discuss how to make the connection between the organization's mission and the volunteer's personal mission. What can be down to align these two worlds to insure the best experience possible for everyone.

Presenter: Kim Howson, Service Unit Support Specialist with the Girl Scouts of Western NY. For the past 25 years Kim has served as a volunteer as well as a professional Girl Scout. She currently supports key volunteers within the 17 Girl Scout areas encompassing Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, Wyoming counties as well as three in Erie and three in Monroe counties. Recently Kim has taken on the task to redefine all of the troop finance processes and serves as council liaison with the GSWNY History Committee. For the past three years Kim has served on the RAAVS Executive Board as the Program Chairman. She lives in Pittsford with her husband and the stubborn but adorable Pug, Roscoe.
